WELCOME VISITORS - New policy

Postby Jim Eshelman » Thu Jul 18, 2013 11:55 am

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Welcome to Temple of Thelema's forums, Heruraha.net. Without registering, you can read all public content. However, you need to register in order to post to the forum.

Beginning today (7/18/2013), all new registrations must be approved by the site administrator. This is in response to the recent extreme rise in registrations for spamming or hacking purposes.

I plan to review and approve registrations at least daily (often more frequently). Please be patient for this manual step. It will make the forum a more enjoyable, exploit-free environment.
Love is the law, love under will.

LOL, as an experiment I removed the block on Gmail. Within 5 minutes I got over 20 junk registration accounts on gmail.com.

OK, back to blocking them...

Jim, I see something new on the forum: a section named A.'. A.'. , it's a tab on the bottom, after the Public Discussion section, but I don't see any contents.
Is it a part of the forum that's in the process of creation, or the contents is already there but private and members can join by invitation only? If the latter is the case, I would love to be invited! :D

Thanks for approving my registration. I spent the better part of an hour trying to login/register with my gmail account and assumed it wouldn't let me register because I had already created an account in the past. I emailed the contact info but my email was returned! I looked around and found the webmasters' email....alas, returned again! :?
Finally got a hold of an extremely helpful individual who told me about the gmail ban.
Well, I'm glad that's over with! Thanks again!

Incomplete and to be kept private when complete. Glad to know it's appearing just exactly as intended ;)
