Hex on Trump?

Postby AliceKnewIt » Thu Feb 23, 2017 12:40 pm

Tomorrow night, February 24th, starting at one minute to midnight and going on for six minutes until 12:05 AM, a group of witches will perform a binding spell on Donald Trump and those who enable him outside of Trump Tower, or wherever they happen to be:

What do we think, as Thelemites, of this particular spell, and of binding spells in general?

What do you think Alice?

I have heard many experienced magicians make fun of this particular spell.

I would not cause harm. I could see doing a kind of binding.
I don't have much experience with this though. I wanted to hear from people with more experience.

Maybe Trump and the frog-god are putting up a good fight. Did you see the Oscars? His enemies in Hollywood were set out to make this event memorable as an anti Trump rally but it will be remembered for the {••••} up over the award.

Something tells me it's going to be remembered as the year a small independent film about a poor, gay, black kid growing up on the streets of south Florida won for Best Picture.

That as well maybe.

Are we talking about the wrongs and rights of Trump's policies? We're talking about binding magic in general? Imo binding is {•••••••} with someone as much as cursing is. As long as you think that you're genuinely doing your TW and you're not violating the TW of the other in your working then no problem.

Personally, I'm not sure the point in judging someone I've never met before. Isn't that what Trump did to Obama for so many years?

It's amateur hour. That's what I think (but two cents isn't worth what it used to be).

How many people are unknown and more powerful than Trump in the American/Global governments that Trump has to contend with? I dislike the majority of the mob who judge a person without knowing the actual circumstances that are going on, classified or otherwise. There could be a ton of factors that the normal public has no clue about shaping Trumps decisions. In the end, the President is usually just a convenient scapegoat.

I am unsure how long this system of complex bribery (capitalism) is going to exist.

You're anti capitalist?

Have you ever had to queue for hours just to get your family a loaf of bread or to buy a pair of jeans for yourself. If that sort of thing gets you off then I suggest socialism.

Not exactly. I'm more anti-fear.

Well... the magick had been done. Trump won. It was his True Will to be President. Crowley spoke similarly of Napoleon - that if it was his true will to conquor Europe it would have been pointless to stop him.
To think that a few binding chants would overturn the magick of the collective mind...
