Do you do Tarot spreads of ten cards?

I've been of the opinion that ten cards is far too indulgent, one question and one card will suffice. What about Crowley, did he pull one card only or do a full spread.

2.21 We have nothing with the outcast and the unfit: let them die in their misery. For they feel not. Compassion is the vice of kings: stamp down the wretched & the weak: this is the law of the strong: this is our law and the joy of the world.

Sure, one form of a quick-answer is to just draw a card.

This doesn't allow for nuance, though. Nuance is found in relationships of cards to each other.

Each card is a complete Universe unto itself. I agree with Jim, to me a card can only be fully interpreted based on relationhip with a spread position and other cards.
