Dolium, Smoke Pacifica

Postby ThelemicMage » Tue Apr 21, 2015 6:10 am

In celebration of Annual 4/20, I looked it up in Sepher Sephiroth.

Not ironically, the text reads,
"It was
Dolium, vas
Vapour, smoke
Pacifica."

Does anyone have any further information regarding this reference?

I know "Dolium" is a vase, or a bowl. Does this mean vapor from a bowl? I'm guessing "Pacifica" is probably something like "Indica". The Chinese were using Cannabis tens of thousands of years ago for it's medicinal purposes, so maybe it's a reference to hash made from a specific breed of plant.

What reference? There were several references in what you quoted.

I know "Dolium" is a vase, or a bowl. Does this mean vapor from a bowl?

Not literally. They are separate words. "Vapor" is the translation of OShN.

I'm guessing "Pacifica" is probably something like "Indica".

Wrong guess. It just means "peaceful" (you know, like the English "pacific"). The Hebrew is ShLMYM, plural of shalom which, among other things, means "peace."

Happy 4/21.

Oh, I see, every line is a separate reference. Thanks, Jim.

Takamba, I rarely note the time of day unless journaling or making plans, however I must have been pacificaeing too much as I see I posted this at ten-something ante-meridiam, yet I remember it being dark for some reason. I had similar attention brought to me about a post in the shroomery lately, I wonder if my provider has the wrong time set on a server, modem or something. I'm usually not this far off.

In the before-times, the "provider", magical and vengeful. Oh, Provider, you supply us with what we need. Electric light and easy communication. It is "All-Clear." We thank the provider. Wow I need some sleep. I'mma take a handful of valerian and pass out.
