Hello everyone, I was just approved for membership on this forum and am so glad to finally be able to access it! I have a burning question in regards to my progress in Liber E. I have been practicing for a little over three months now and my primary focus has been geared towards Asana, Pranayama, Dharana and the LBRP. I am now able to do Pranayama 20-10 breathing for 50 minute sessions with relative ease. About a week ago I had my first breakthrough experience with Pranayama. I decided to add a mantra into the breathing and approximately half way through I started to become less aware of body, felt as if I was falling or being pulled, then flashes (Kundalini???) started flickering behind eyelids. I felt those flashes throughout entire body, even Surges of energy. It was crazy. At any rate, I continued my regular pranayama breathing sessions without the mantra. Only a couple days later I noticed I started having those same phenomena present during Asana practice, Dhrana practice, any exercise that involved breathing seemed to start triggering it, even the LBRP would slightly cause it. At night I would experience those same flashes, hard to sleep. I have quit Pranayama all together and the symptoms have dissipated almost entirely. My main question is, should I resume the practice of Pranayama? Or leave it out completely at this stage of my development? I would hate to loose all my gains in this exercise but I also don't want to cause something disastrous to occur, as I understand it, Pranayama can be dangerous. What shall I do??? Any information in regards to this dilemma would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
