I didn't mean to hijack the thread or go off topic, but I feel that it was already in danger of going there by mentioning MJK at all. I see a lot of occultist who want to worship his music, it's baffling.

I simply drew a connection between the media I surround myself with and the nature of the topic of this thread.
The pass from the Emperor to the Heirophant seems indicated by the ideas in the song, though I'm sure it was unintentional in any specific sense.
I am not standing Maynard's work up to Jim's in any way--two different mediums--nor did I intend to discuss it. I just imagine his music resonates with the magicians out there, so I don't feel quotes from some of it are entirely unwarranted here.

P.S. I'm sorry your experience at the Puscifer show was a bummer. Mine last fall was brilliant.
