Adeptus Minor vs Adeptus Minor W/O (Paths)

Postby milkBoxx » Tue May 20, 2014 5:09 am

Once Dominus Liminus is completed and the student reaches Adeptus Minor WITHOUT
Aside from pursuing the K&C, what paths ( All paths leading from the grade of AM?) are generally evident for this intermediate grade?
Is it just Tiphareth and the paths as usual, just without the K&C completed? Or are you limited
to just some paths because others require the K&C to be completed before exploring them?
I feel like this transition has been vaguely described in most of the writings I read about.
But, let's admit it there are quite a few writings out there and although I consider myself
well read I still see little on this subject. I'd assume this has a lot do with the Ruach and
entering the Briatic Plane in which stabilization of the grade is first obtained and then
the vision of eighth aethyr become priority until complete. But then again, I'm curious for the
answer.

Thanks

As with all A.'.A.'. grades, the Paths portion for approach is specifically worked in the 4=7 and Dom Lim grades. The Paths "past" Tifereth (Lamed and Meym) are especially the purview of the 5-6 Within, but I don't think the line is that firm - they're either appropriate to 5=6 Without also, or they "leak" over. (But not the same way they do for the 5=6 Within.)

A couple of other ways to say this:
-- The primary Path connection of the 5=6 Without, who is aspiring to the K&C of the HGA, is the Path of Gimel, wherein that K&C essentially occurs. In fact, I like a little Qabbalistic code I like is that the spelling Gimel - GML - gives you Gimel, Meym, and Lamed, the three Paths actually most important to the 5-6.
-- However, there is also the fact that this exact point in growth will bring forward any unresolved or karmically important themes distinctive to the individual. Any of the prior work that is out of balance will flare up.
-- The Paths of the Portal - essential work of Philosophus and Dom Lim - are, of course, of continuing importance.

I feel like this transition has been vaguely described in most of the writings I read about.

There is great care taken not to describe the experience of this step in particular. Only the tasks are carefully described. While I certainly understand the comfort of being able to sort this into some mental construct, in other ways these are irrelevant questions - one simply does the work as assigned, screw the theory.
