The worship of the goddess of darkness, of strength, of danger, of the hunt. My secret love, the depths of the subconscious mind, exposed and bare for all to delight. It is not enough to bear witness, it is not enough to silently watch. I must dance with you, I must sing with you, I must battle with you, our enjoyments are one in the fullness of life. We have won, we have won our liberty, the Light breaks and we join in the celebration of existence, drunkenness, and splendor. In this celebration and in this joy we formulate the way in which all parts of ourselves are to be liberated and partake of the wine of the gods.

So, I took a verse from the Holy Books, drew a Tarot card, and then another verse from the Holy Books. Not sure why I landed on 3 things, but it felt good.

1. Liber Legis 1:48 - "My prophet is a fool with his one, one, one; are not they the Ox, and none by the Book."
2. Atu XIII - Death
3. Liber Porta Lucis - v16 - "Or as a scholar may learn some secret language of the ancients, his friends shall say: 'Look! he pretends to read this book. But it is unintelligible - it is nonsense' Yet he delights in the Odyssey, while they read vain and vulgar things."

I've mostly considered divination on the surface and that means that I've mostly considered it as future telling. When considering it further I think that the process and results of divination serve to give character to the "current" or "wave" of life already in motion. It is a telling of what is so and it may do so in ways that aren't clear to us at the time and thus it looks like it is telling the future. It draws connections like synapses in the brain, creates new channels, enlarges our consciousness, and other cool stuff. I'd like to think this, sounds logical to me, but I haven't drawn my own proof.

Tarot Meditation - The Moon

The undulation of the night reveals beautiful white pear in the midst of Nuit’s bosom. She is like a drop of milk from Nuit’s breast. As her nourishing current threads the night with silver shimmer, down below in the water of the unconscious there reflects spark of infinite beauty - the pearl which ornaments Nuit’s bare bosom. Traveling across the night and through her phases revealing her face from the shadowed mood to that of radiance.
Down below there is a maiden looking up at the night sky and her face reflects the moonlight. She is Diana and she is Hecate. She runs wild with the dog-wolves through the woods. And with her arrow she pierces the hearth stone hitting its center, splitting it, revealing its inner golden ore like the veins of earth through which golden blood streams - its essence of life. And it pours down into the black earth. And from that place beautiful flowers grow - Queen of the Night. She opens her lovely face only in the nighttime to behold mother moon who nourishes her with her milky splendor. And the assortment of white petals and black earth is a path that Druids follow to come to their secret hearth-stone and perform their rites of passage. And the night grows thicker, its density swallowing all but the white maiden in the sky who is but a mirror to the great Sun, reflecting its holy light and nourishing in the night as He nourishes in the day.
"As long as space endures, as long as sentient beings remain, until then, may I too remain to dispel the miseries of the world." - Arya Shantideva, Bodhicaryāvatāra
