April 9
(BEYTH, The Magus, Mercury)
Liber L., Cap. II (Hadit)

Happy Hadit-day!
"Write, & find ecstasy in writing! Work, & be our bed in working! Thrill with the joy of life & death! Ah! thy death shall be lovely: whoso seeth it shall be glad. Thy death shall be the seal of the promise of our age long love. Come! lift up thine heart & rejoice! We are one; we are none."

Rain falls hard, burns dry
A dream or a song
That hits you so hard
Filling you up and suddenly gone

Breathe
Feel
Love,
Give free,
Know in your soul
Like your blood knows the way
From your heart to your brain
Knows that you're whole

And you're shining, like the brightest star
A transmission on the midnight radio
And you're spinnin' like a forty-five
Ballerina - dancing to your rock and roll

Here's to Patti and Tina and Yoko, Aretha
And Nona and Nico and me
And all the strange rock and rollers
You know you're doing all right
So hold on to each other
You gotta hold on tonight

And you're shinin' like the brightest star
A transmission on the midnight radio
And you're spinnin', your new forty-fives
All the misfits and the losers
Well, you know you're rock and rollers
Spinning to your rock and roll

Lift up your hands
Lift up your hands
Lift up your hands

I celebrated the second day of writing of Liber L. today by a simple ceremony of reading Chapter 2, before the altar, with candle lit and incense.

Verses 71-72 touch a deep cord. Today I see them not as an instruction, but a description of whole of my life in this incarnation.

I thought that's what we were to do lol. I've done every one as a reading before the altar

The ultraviolet light has bleached my beard white,
Now people think I'm a wise old man,
Full of wise old words--
I'm just cleverer
Than most
The rest:
Dogs
Now
That I've
Fallen into
The pit of Because
I have to dig my way out
At least I still have my wits about me
Because my eyes have been blinded by the light

"Remember all ye that existence is pure joy; that all the sorrows are but as shadows; they pass & are done; but there is that which remains."
"But all we say and do, however casually, adds up to more, far more, than our most strenuous Operations. 'Take care of the pence, and the pounds will take care of themselves.'" - Commentaries of AL
