Liber LXV, Cap. IV, v. 11-13
11. There are purse-proud penniless ones that stand at the door of the tavern and prate of their feats of wine-bibbing.
12. There are purse-proud penniless ones that stand at the door of the tavern and revile the guests.
13. The guests dally upon couches of mother-of-pearl in the garden; the noise of the foolish men is hidden from them.
"Write, & find ecstasy in writing! Work, & be our bed in working! Thrill with the joy of life & death! Ah! thy death shall be lovely: whoso seeth it shall be glad. Thy death shall be the seal of the promise of our age long love. Come! lift up thine heart & rejoice! We are one; we are none."

The tavern - the Hall of Inner Sanctuary (garden).
The purse-proud penniless ones - shallow people, interested in some kind of "personal gain"; they can not enter the Hall of Inner Sanctuary, though they even stand on its door; those not busy with boasting of some kind are busy with speaking against the guests in the tavern i.e. Adepts.
From the inside, these people are not even perceived; the Adepts "vibrate on different frequencies", abide in continuous Delight. Couches of mother-of-pearl allude to Biynah.
